If you’re petite like me, you probably know all the rules to dress “right”: from balancing the lenghts and proportions to what postures help us look taller. You might have even been bullied, as if those centimeters less were anybody’s bussines or a reason to be ashamed of whatsoever.
Personally, my size doesn’t make me feel akward neither it limitates me. Although I agree that certain clothes can be more flattering for our type of body, I think it’s way more important to have fun and experiment with what we have in our closet to make the most out of it and create unexpected yet interesting combinations. That might lead us to commit “major infractions” like wearing a maxi skirt and sneakers together, but then again, it’s all about having fun!
