The Safari Chic trend with Farfetch

This post makes part of a Farfetch campaign in which bloggers involved could win shopping vouchers. All opinions are my own.

After a super stressful month finishing my master’s degree I’m excited to be finally back! This time I teamed up with Farfetch to write a post inspired by their Fashion Blogger’s Summer Content Pack. Something I love from Farfetch is their global aproach to fashion: you can buy from top brands and new designers from all over the world in one place. Because no border can contain our fashion desires. They’ve made a carefully curated selection of the key trends for 2016 and some beautiful inphographics to explain the concept of each one of them. My pick? The Safari Chic trend started by Valentino’s Africa Collection, that mixed the maison’s iconic Roman silhouette with beads, feather and tribal prints in a beautiful ode to the continent that never stops inspiring fashion.

THE MOOD

Menswear meets feminine on a Lauren Hutton’s trip to Kenya that sets the mood for the trend. Effortless and chic!

THE SILHOUETTE

Lightweight structured pieces.

THE COLOR PALETTE

Lots of neutral, creams, earthy tones, browns and olive green.

BUY OR DIY

The classic utility jacket gets a fun update with animal and tropical printed patches.

FEMININE WITH AN EDGE

Not into prints? Mix your military jacket with lace, tweed, flowy dresses and sandals.

WILD CARD

You can’t go wrong with animal printed accesories. Invest on darker colors (they work for any season). Stella Mccartney’s Beckett bag in leopard is the perfect example.

Hope this post has been inspiring! Let me know if you’re willing to try the Safari Chic trend!
