Suck it Up

At the beginning of this month I had my debut as a barre instructor with 12 hours a week, hence the lack of posts. As a newbie (and as a person who has never danced before), it was both physically and emotionally demanding. I mean, there were some serious self-doubt and what the hell am I even doing? kind of moments. I never doubted it was what I wanted tough, so I putted all my energy into it and so far I’ve received pretty positive feedback about my classes. The lesson here is: everything you want is on the other side of fear, so there’s no option but to suck it up and trust the path you choose, even if it seems a crazy one. It’s easier said than done, I’m not going to lie, but you progressively get there.

With my uniform being black, I find myself missing my bold colors and prints really bad. This post is a celebration of them, because it’ll always be fashion before fitness for me!
