What You Are Comes to You

Shame on me for being the kind of blogger that never actually updates the blog. It’s all been about the barre life lately: when I’m not taking pilates and ballet classes, training or planning my classes, I’m basically sleeping. But when you discover that you got talent for something ballet related at the age of 30 there’s a lot to catch up with.

It’s such a huge responsability to put togheter a fun and safe workout, even more for those people with injeries or beginners. Lots of expectation and pressure envolved, lots of “I can’t even” and “who the heck am I and what I’m doing?” moments, plus days where as a venezuelan I don’t even wanna leave bed (just check the news and you’ll have an idea).

But seeing people leave my classes with a smile on their faces makes it all worth it. The cliché is real: you feel the most alive when you’re doing something that you love, and I’ll have to add: even if you didn’t dream about it. Because as Mr Emerson said, what you are comes to you.

Now it almost hurts to see all the makeup and clothes I’m not able to wear at the moment, and this beautiful project of mine and which I’m proud of, practically abandoned. No more! Stay tuned for all the fun things ahead!
