French girl attends to mediterranean college at I’m Isola Spring Summer 2015 collection, the diffusion line of Kenzo’s art director Antonio Marras. I’m comes from the acronym ISOLA MARRAS which key concept is resumed in the phrase IO SONO UN‘ISOLA (I’m an island) according to the creator.
Marras pays tribute to his sardinian roots and memories through the manipulation of different materials such as lace, embroidery and even scraps of fabric which he overlaps and recontextualizes as part of a reflection process. The results? Oversized pieces with a fun sporty-ladylike vibe.
